This title - as with others from this series - contains the entire screenplay, as well as extraneous notes on missing lines and scenes. You can read how the film was to have been an adaptation of the Sabatini novel of the same name, and how Warner's writing dept. researched history and came to a character based on privateer and explorer Sir Francis Drake.

Details of production, as with The Adventures of Robin Hood, are interesting to follow - both for fans and film students alike.
